Blender 2.5 Free Open-Source 3D Development Suite Released!

The popular free and open-source 3D development, creation, and animation software suite Blender has moved to full release of the new 2.5 version. This first release out of beta marks a major update in the Blender creation suite. Scientists, engineers, and others in technical fields searching for a 3D solution should strongly consider Blender. It’s a powerful 3D software tool and it’s free! Blender is developed in Python so you can make your own contributions to the project and create your own tools.

Significant changes have been made to the user interface and users familiar with the previous interface will find it quite different.
