The Space Frontier Foundation is once again holding its NewSpace Conference in 2011 at the NASA Ames Research Center from July 28-31, 2011. The theme/title this year is “The Next Big Thing” and will focus on commercial space and space tourism opportunities.
The 2011 NewSpace Conference
The annual NewSpace Conference is quickly becoming one of the most important commercial space conferences in the nation. Deputy NASA Administrator Lori Garver will present the opening keynote on Thursday morning, kicking off another great conference. This is the third year that the conference has been in Silicon Valley CA and the three day event will focus on the current, near term, and future opportunities and challenges of the rapidly emerging commercial space industry.
